Fred Owusu Sekyere is an assistant coach for the George Mason women's soccer program in Fairfax, Virginia, having returned to the staff in March 2026. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Patriots during the 2023 season before working as an assistant coach at American University and as head coach of Richmond Ivy in the USL W League.
His coaching background also includes time at VCU, where he was part of the staff that won the program's first Atlantic 10 regular-season title in 2021 and matched a school record with nine straight wins. He also contributed to Atlantic 10 Tournament appearances in 2022 and 2024. Owusu Sekyere has additionally worked with Richmond Kickers Youth in technical development and camps, and he played at VCU before professional stops with the Charlotte Eagles and Richmond Kickers.
