Fred Chao is entering his sixth season as the head coach of the Old Dominion volleyball team in 2025. He was announced on January 29, 2019 as the first-ever volleyball coach at ODU. Chao's fifth season at the helm proved to be a historic one for the program as the Monarchs put together their first 10-match win streak.
