Frantz Massenat is an assistant men's basketball coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position he joined in the summer of 2023. A former Drexel standout, he returned to his alma mater after a nine-year professional playing career in Europe. His final season came in France in 2022, and he also spent six years in Germany while playing for three clubs, with additional seasons in Italy and Spain.
Massenat was a four-year starter for the Dragons and graduated from Drexel in 2014 with a degree in communication. He started a school-record 128 games, scored 1,646 career points, and finished seventh in program history in scoring. A three-time All-CAA selection with two first-team honors, he averaged 12.9 points and 4.3 assists at Drexel and ranks fourth in school history with 548 assists. He led the CAA twice in both assists per game and assist-to-turnover ratio, and in 2011-12 he topped the league in three-point percentage at .450 as Drexel won a school-record 29 games and reached the NIT quarterfinals.
