Frank Davis is Chief of Staff for Wake Forest men's basketball in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He joined the program in May 2020 as Director of Basketball Operations after spending three seasons as director of operations on Steve Forbes' staff at East Tennessee State. Davis began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Tennessee Tech, where he was part of the 2015-16 team that finished 19-12 and reached the postseason for the first time in four years. After that season, he was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches as a member of its 30-Under-30 team.
A former Tennessee Tech player from 2006 to 2010, Davis remains the school's career leader in three-point field goals with 251. He appeared in 125 games, the second-highest total in program history, and scored 1,118 points. He was also named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll four times. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Davis earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science and physical wellness from Tennessee Tech in 2010 and completed a Master of Arts in elementary and secondary physical education in 2013.
