Frank Collazo
Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach
Frank Collazo joined The College of New Jersey baseball staff in 2026 as assistant coach and pitching coach, bringing more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience and a proven record of building championship-level pitching staffs. Known for his ability to develop arms and guide programs through postseason success, Collazo arrived in Ewing following multiple productive stints across Division II, Division III, and junior college baseball. His return to the NJAC followed prior conference experience at Stockton University, positioning him well to contribute immediately within the competitive regional landscape.
Collazo began his collegiate coaching career at Felician University in 2012, where he remained through the 2018 season and helped guide the Golden Falcons to multiple Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference titles and NCAA Regional appearances. After a season at Brookdale Community College in 2018, he returned to Felician as pitching coach before moving on to Stockton University from 2020 to 2023. He most recently rejoined Felician from 2024–2025, playing a key role in the program’s historic run to the Division II College World Series in 2025. Over the course of his career, Collazo has coached numerous professional pitchers, including MLB Draft selections and Major League pitcher Jerry Vasto, along with several others who advanced to affiliated and independent professional baseball. His background reflects a consistent emphasis on pitcher development, competitiveness, and preparation, making him a valuable addition to TCNJ as the Lions continue to compete at a high national level.
