Fran Brown was hired as Syracuse’s 31st head coach on Nov. 28, 2023 and immediately invigorated the Syracuse football program, winning multiple national coach of the year honors, delivering a 10-win season and signing the three highest-ranked recruiting classes in the modern era for Syracuse football through his first two seasons. Brown delivered a 10-win season in his first year at the helm, tying Paul Pasqualoni (1991) for the most victories by a coach in their first season at Syracuse.
