Evan Turkish serves as Assistant Coach for Stony Brook University's Women's Basketball program in Stony Brook, New York.
Stony Brook women’s basketball head coach Joy McCorvey announced the addition of Evan Turkish to the coaching staff in July 2025. Turkish comes to Long Island after coaching stints at Nicholls State, James Madison and most recently, Appalachian State. In his first season, Turkish helped Stony Brook finish with an 18-15 overall record and a 12-6 mark in CAA play.
