Erynne Yoo
Assistant Coach
Erynne Yoo, a former All-American and standout player for UCLA, enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Bruins in 2025–26. Returning to her alma mater in June 2023, Yoo reunited with her former coach, Alicia Um Holmes, and has been instrumental in sustaining UCLA’s national prominence. Together, the duo has led the Bruins to five team victories, two NCAA Championship appearances, and a runner-up national finish in 2024. Known for her technical precision and strong player relationships, Yoo has helped develop elite collegiate talent, including WGCA All-Americans Zoe Antoinette Campos and Caroline Canales, as well as all-conference honorees Francesca Fiorellini and Campos.
A three-time WGCA All-American and the 2012 Pac-12 and NGCA Freshman of the Year during her collegiate career, Yoo played a key role in UCLA’s four straight NCAA Championship appearances from 2012–2015, earning four individual medals and contributing to multiple top-10 national finishes. Following her time in Westwood, she enjoyed a successful professional career, competing in 26 LPGA Tour events and 73 Symetra Tour tournaments, where she earned three victories and 10 top-10 finishes. Yoo also represented the United States in international competition, including the 2014 Curtis Cup and the 2012 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship.
Before returning to UCLA, Yoo spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Princeton University, helping the Tigers achieve multiple top-three finishes and develop NCAA Regional qualifiers. With her championship experience, professional insight, and commitment to mentoring student-athletes, Yoo continues to elevate UCLA women’s golf as one of the nation’s premier programs.
