Erinn Dooley
Assistant Coach
Erinn Dooley, a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland, was a standout gymnast at the University of Florida, where she earned seven All-American honors. During her collegiate career, she competed in events such as the all-around, vault, and beam, and she was named to the All-SEC second team four times and earned SEC Gymnast of the Week honors twice. She also served as a co-captain of the Gators in both her junior and senior years. Prior to college, Dooley trained at Hill’s Gymnastics Training Center alongside notable Olympians under coach Kelli Hill, and she was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1997 to 2000, competing internationally in events like the Pan American Games and the Senior Pacific Alliance. After her competitive career, Dooley transitioned into coaching. She joined the University of Maryland’s gymnastics staff in 2009 as an assistant coach and has served as beam coach, contributing to Maryland’s consistent appearances at NCAA Regionals. Her coaching duties also include assistance with conditioning, athlete development, and behind-the-scenes program support. Before Maryland, she coached at Hill’s Gymnastics and Philbin’s Athletic Training Center, working primarily with elite-level gymnasts.
