Eric Snider is the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Louisville baseball program in Louisville, Kentucky, and is in his 12th season on the Cardinals' staff. He was announced as an assistant coach on July 15, 2014, joining head coach Dan McDonnell's staff as the program's hitting coach and lead recruiter after a long run at Illinois.
Since Snider arrived at Louisville in 2014, the Cardinals have made three College World Series appearances, reached six NCAA Super Regionals, won five ACC Atlantic Division titles, produced 24 All-Americans and 61 MLB Draft picks, and had 14 players reach the major leagues. His recruiting work has also stood out nationally, with six of his first 12 signing classes ranking in the national top 10, including three rated among the top three. Among the individual honors earned by Louisville players during his tenure is Brendan McKay's 2017 National Player of the Year award.
