Eric Johnson is the head coach of the Drexel University men's tennis program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position he assumed in 2024. He arrived at Drexel after serving as an assistant men's tennis coach at the University of Southern California, his alma mater, where he was part of a staff that helped the Trojans win the Pac-12 title and reach the NCAA Tournament round of 16 in 2023.
Johnson's background at USC also includes an accomplished playing career. He helped the Trojans win two NCAA team championships and an ITA National Team Indoor Championship, and he finished with a 73-11 dual-match record. He was a team captain as a senior before graduating in 2015 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
