Eric Beltran is the assistant head coach for West Virginia University women's soccer in Morgantown, West Virginia. He joined the Mountaineers in August 2023 and was promoted in May 2024. Entering his fourth season in 2026, he works primarily with West Virginia's goalkeepers and also assists with daily training and match preparation.
During his time on the staff, West Virginia returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2024 and 2025. The 2025 team finished 14-3-4 overall, went 8-0-3 in Big 12 play, and earned the program's first unbeaten conference season since 2016. The Mountaineers also received a second straight at-large NCAA bid and hosted a first-round match for the first time since 2022. Beltran oversaw a goalkeeping group that posted 11 shutouts, including five in conference play. Bailey Herfurth claimed the starting job early in the season and did not allow a goal until her sixth start, leading the nation in goals-against average at the midpoint of the year among goalkeepers playing at least half of their team's minutes.
