Eric Atkins is the associate head coach for Towson University women's basketball in Towson, Maryland, entering the 2025-26 season in that position after joining the staff for 2024-25. His arrival was announced on July 11, 2024, and the 2025-26 season marks his second year with the program.
Before coming to Towson, Atkins spent two seasons with the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, where he focused on point guard development, prepared scouting reports for players and coaches, and used film study as part of postgame instruction. He previously served as an assistant coach at George Washington for one season, working with James Bishop, a first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection and one of the top scorers in college basketball, as well as first-team All-Atlantic 10 player Joe Bamisile and Atlantic 10 All-Freshman honoree Brayon Freeman.
