Emily Kaczmarek
Associate Athletic Director for Administration/Head Coach
Emily Kaczmarek is a seasoned leader in collegiate athletics, serving as the head coach of the Stevens Institute of Technology softball team and the Assistant Athletic Director for Administration & Finance. She is in her seventh season as head coach and has been part of the Stevens Athletics department since 2013, originally joining as an intern before advancing into administrative and coaching roles. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Kaczmarek oversees key operational functions within the department, including budgeting and forecasting, NCAA financial and EADA reporting, hiring and onboarding of staff, athletic camps and facility contracts, and the NCAA travel and championship bid processes.
Under her leadership, the Stevens softball program achieved historic success. She reached her 100th career victory during the 2023 season, and that same year, standout player Meg Halloran set the program record for career hits. In her first five seasons as head coach, Kaczmarek guided Stevens to its first conference tournament titles in 2021 and 2022 by winning the MAC Freedom Tournament and advancing to the NCAA Division III Regionals — including the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament win. She also led the team to back-to-back Empire 8 Conference tournament appearances earlier in her tenure. Her teams have also earned multiple individual honors and academic accolades, reflecting both on-field success and strong student-athlete performance.
