Emilyee Mcgiles

Emilyee McGiles recently joined the University of Maryland’s women’s golf program as an assistant coach. She was officially welcomed to the staff in 2025 as part of the coaching lineup under Head Coach Kelly Hovland. In her role, she helps with recruiting, on-course instruction, player development, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the team. Prior to joining Maryland, McGiles spent time in coaching and professional golf roles. She has experience working with collegiate programs and also with professional tour circuits. Her playing background includes competing at Southern Illinois, where she posted solid scoring numbers and was relied on regularly in the lineup.
