Emily Boissonneault is the head coach of the University of Pittsburgh women's lacrosse team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has led the program since being named the first head coach in school history on June 29, 2019.
Pittsburgh announced the addition of women's lacrosse as a varsity sport in November 2018, and Boissonneault was selected to launch the program. Her tenure has included both competitive progress and notable academic recognition for the team. In 2024, Pitt finished 5-13, with Jenna Hendrickson and Sydney Naylor leading the offense in points. The program also set a school record with 20 student-athletes on the All-ACC Academic Team, earned IWLCA Academic Honor Squad recognition for the second straight year, and placed Maureen McNierney, Audrey Moran, and Abby Thorne on the IWLCA Division I Honor Roll.
