Emerson Newsome serves as Assistant Coach for University of Mississippi's Men's Golf program in University, Mississippi. Emerson Newsome enters his third year at Ole Miss after joining the Rebels in July of 2023 after one season as the assistant men’s golf coach with the Washington Huskies. In year two, Newsome helped guide arguably the best and most decorated Ole Miss team in program history.
The team also received its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history. The Rebels finished third at the 2025 NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California.
