Elvira Khasyanova is Stanford's head coach for artistic swimming, appointed on Oct. 10, 2025, after seven seasons as an assistant coach on The Farm. During her Stanford tenure, the Cardinal won national championships in 2021 and 2025, captured four consecutive MPSF titles from 2022-25, produced 10 individual national champions, and developed numerous USA Artistic Swimming All-Americans.
Khasyanova is a 2021 International Swimming Hall of Fame inductee and one of the sport's most accomplished competitors. She won Olympic team gold medals in 2004, 2008, and 2012 with the Russian Senior National Team, earned nine World Championships gold medals, and was a four-time European champion before later coaching with U.S. National Team senior and junior squads.
