Eltavious Johnson
Manager of Social Media & Community Outreach
Eltavious Johnson serves as the Manager of Social Media & Community Outreach for the Rollins College Men’s Tennis program, joining the team in the summer of 2023. In this role, he has played a key part in enhancing the team’s visibility and engagement by creating and managing compelling campaigns on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, capturing photography and video content, and assisting with game-day announcements and logistics. Johnson’s work coincided with one of the most successful seasons for the Tars in two decades, including an NCAA Tournament appearance and a strong 20-3 record, during which he was actively present at matches, practices, and team activities.
A native of The Bahamas, Johnson is a rising junior at Rollins College, double majoring in Communications and Music with a minor in Political Science. His background includes a vibrant broadcasting career in The Bahamas, and he remains engaged in campus media as a host at the WPRK radio booth. Beyond his contributions to men’s tennis, Johnson is deeply involved in the broader Rollins community. He was elected Vice-President of the Student Government Association and was selected as the sole student member of the 19-person 2024 Presidential Search Committee, tasked with helping to vet and select the next president of the college. Johnson’s leadership extends into student life and community engagement, reflecting his commitment to advocacy and representation on campus.
