Elliot Glynn is the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Fordham baseball in Bronx, New York, and entered his seventh season on the Rams' staff in 2025. His tenure has included several notable pitching and program milestones. In 2021, Fordham's staff developed Matt Mikulski into a unanimous All-American, a Golden Spikes Award semifinalist, and the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Year, while Mikulski also became the program's single-season and career strikeout leader and was chosen in the second round of the MLB Draft by the San Francisco Giants. Fordham's pitchers recorded 467 strikeouts in 2023, the third-highest total in school history, and the 2025 team returned to the Atlantic 10 Championship for the program's first playoff appearance since 2019. That season also included All-Rookie Team honors for Anthony Grabau and Taylor Kirk, Academic All-Conference recognition for Gannon Brady and Andrew Kanellis, and Daniel Bucciero's selection by the Athletics in the ninth round of the 2025 MLB Draft.
Before arriving at Fordham, Glynn spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Hartford, where he worked in recruiting and directed the pitching staff. Hartford won its first America East regular-season and tournament titles in 2018, when the pitching staff set a program record with 405 strikeouts, logged a school-best 476.2 innings, and posted one of the lowest ERAs in team history. Nicholas Dombkowski became the first player in conference history to earn both Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year in the same season and was later named a Baseball America Freshman All-American, while Seth Pinkerton was drafted by the Minnesota Twins. Hartford also posted 324 strikeouts in 2017, and the 2016 team set a school record with 37 wins. Under Glynn, the Hawks' pitchers moved into the program's top five in several categories, including innings pitched, strikeouts, saves, shutouts, runs allowed, and batting average against.
