Ellen Herman-Kimball is the head coach of the University of Connecticut women's volleyball program in Storrs, Connecticut. She was formally appointed head coach after serving in the interim role beginning in February 2019. Before that promotion, she spent five seasons as a UConn assistant after rejoining the staff in 2014, and she had also previously served as an assistant coach with the Huskies in 2011.
Under Herman-Kimball, UConn has produced several of the strongest seasons in program history. In 2025, the Huskies finished 19-9, went 11-1 in nonconference play, and posted a 12-3 home record while leading the nation in aces per set. That season also included BIG EAST All-Conference recognition for Emma Werkmeister and Doga Kutlu, with Werkmeister earning unanimous selection and AVCA All-Region honors. Audrey Rome was named tournament MVP and joined the Bearcat Classic all-tournament team, and Herman-Kimball recorded her 100th career win on September 19, becoming the fourth coach in program history to reach that milestone.
