Elisha Brewer has served as assistant coach for hurdles with the University of Pittsburgh track and field and cross country program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, since joining the staff in October 2022. She arrived at Pitt after 18 seasons at Kansas, where she coached sprints and hurdles and developed 22 All-Americans while her athletes set numerous school records in those events.
At Kansas, Brewer coached Cordell Tinch, the 2019 Big 12 Men's Outdoor Track & Field Outstanding Freshman of the Year and winner of the 110-meter hurdles at the 2019 Big 12 Outdoor Championships. She also guided Michael Stigler, a four-time All-American, to the 2015 NCAA outdoor title in the 400-meter hurdles and four straight Big 12 championships in that event. Stigler also posted top marks in multiple events, including a school record in the 600 yards.
