Dylan Vchulek serves as an assistant coach for the Bellevue College baseball program, returning to his alma mater for his third season on staff. One of the most accomplished players in program history, Vchulek starred for the Bulldogs in 2015 and 2016, earning first-team All-Region honors and Rawlings All-American recognition. He was also the NWAC batting champion in 2015, hitting .395—an achievement that placed him among the top hitters in Bellevue’s long and successful baseball tradition. In his current role, Vchulek contributes as the third base coach while also working closely with the team’s outfielders, bringing firsthand experience and a player-focused approach to development.
Following his success at Bellevue, Vchulek continued his collegiate career at the University of Hawai‘i, where he became one of the top hitters in the Big West Conference. In 2018, he led the conference with an impressive .411 batting average and was a consistent presence in the lineup. During his time with the Rainbow Warriors, he led the team in hits, stolen bases, and multi-hit games, earning All-Big West Honorable Mention honors while maintaining exceptional defensive performance. Known for his consistency, he recorded a 44-game on-base streak—one of the longest in NCAA play at the time. Beyond athletics, Vchulek excelled academically, earning his team’s Top Scholar Award. He remains active in player development through his involvement with Baden Baseball Club, further demonstrating his commitment to mentoring the next generation of athletes.
