Dylan Musial
Assistant Coach
Dylan Musial returned to his alma mater as an assistant men’s basketball coach prior to the 2022-23 season, rejoining the Drew University program after contributing to one of the most successful stretches in school history as a student-athlete. From 2017 to 2022, the Rangers compiled an impressive 85-36 overall record and qualified for the Landmark Conference playoffs in five consecutive seasons. During that span, Drew advanced to the conference championship game three times in four seasons from 2020 through 2022 and captured its first Landmark Conference title in program history in 2020-21. The team also set a single-season program record for wins with a 23-7 finish in 2018-19.
As a player, Musial appeared in 36 games as a guard despite facing multiple injuries and was selected as a team co-captain, reflecting his leadership and commitment to the program. His firsthand experience within the Rangers’ culture provides valuable continuity and insight in his coaching role. In addition to his on-court contributions, Musial is a VertiMax certified trainer, enhancing his ability to support player development and performance training. He graduated from Drew University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in business and a minor in media and communications.
