Dustin Kerns was named the 22nd head coach in App State men's basketball history on March 28, 2019. He is entering his eighth season as head coach at App State in 2026-27. App State solidified its position as one of the top programs in the Sun Belt Conference in 2025-26, as it posted a 19-13 record and an 11-7 mark in conference play.
