Dudley Hartman
Associate Head Coach
A four-time All-American at Florida and two-time PGA TOUR winner, Dudley Hart was promoted to Associate Head Coach ahead of the 2023–24 season and helps lead one of college golf’s most consistent programs. In spring 2024 he returned to classes to complete his bachelor’s degree in history, underscoring a player-to-coach journey rooted in UF. Hart has been instrumental as Florida stacked postseason results in 2024–25, including an SEC Championship, the NCAA Bremerton Regional title, and a National Championship semifinal—part of a five-win campaign that showcased the Gators’ depth and resilience.
Recognized nationally as the 2023 Jan Strickland Outstanding Assistant Coach, Hart blends elite competitive experience with detailed player development, from practice structure to course management. His presence has coincided with Florida’s recent trophy surge and individual honors across the roster, while he continues to mentor within a culture of accountability and preparation championed by head coach J.C. Deacon. A proud Gator who first starred in Gainesville from 1987–90 before a decorated professional career, Hart now channels that pedigree into sustained excellence for UF men’s golf.
