Drew Svoboda serves as Associate Head Coach / Special Teams Coordinator / Tight Ends for Oklahoma State University's Football program in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Svoboda joined the Oklahoma State Football staff as the associate head coach, special teams coordinator and tight ends coach in December 2025. Prior to that he served in a similar role at North Texas from 2023-25 and closed out the 2025 season as UNT's interim head coach, leading the Mean Green to a win over San Diego State in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl.
The win marked his 100th win as a head coach, with the previous 99 coming at Klein Collins High School. Svoboda came to OSU with 26 years of coaching experience, including 18 years in the high school ranks from 2000-2017 and eight years in FBS football. He's worked closely with special teams throughout his college coaching career, which includes stops at Rice, Memphis, Alabama and North Texas. His 2025 special teams unit at UNT was the third-highest graded unit in the American Conference according to Pro Football Focus.
