Dora Goles joined the Eastern Washington University women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in June 2025, bringing a diverse international background and a strong foundation in player development and recruiting. Prior to arriving in Cheney, she spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Idaho State University, where she worked extensively with guards, prepared scouting reports, and contributed to all aspects of program operations. Her role expanded over time, culminating in her promotion to a top assistant position ahead of the 2024–25 season. Goles was instrumental in recruiting, particularly in international outreach, while also contributing to strength and conditioning, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives.
As a former standout player at Idaho State, Goles earned All-Big Sky honors and helped lead the Bengals to consecutive conference championships in 2021 and 2022. She also excelled academically, earning all-conference academic recognition throughout her collegiate career. Before Idaho State, she played at Western Wyoming Community College, where she earned NJCAA All-American honors. A native of Split, Croatia, Goles represented her country on the junior national team for several years, serving as team captain. Her combination of international playing experience, multifaceted coaching background, and academic achievements positions her as a valuable contributor to Eastern Washington’s continued success.
