Former Bobcat men's basketball legend Donte Mathis joined the Texas State coaching staff in August 2021 and is in his fifth season with the program. In his role, Mathis tutors the Texas State guards and oversees the recruiting areas of East Texas, Houston, Louisiana and Arizona.
