Dillon Pottish is the head coach of the St. John's University men's tennis program in Queens, New York, a position he has held since arriving in August 2018.
By his fifth season in 2022-23, Pottish had led the Red Storm to the program's seventh BIG EAST Championship and the second conference title of his tenure. That team earned the league's automatic NCAA Tournament bid after sweeping Butler, 4-0, in the championship match. St. John's finished 20-6 in dual matches, recorded the program's first 20-win season since 2016, went 6-0 against BIG EAST opponents, and closed the year with 11 wins in its final 13 matches. Pottish and his staff were named BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year, while graduate student Diogo Marques was selected as BIG EAST Player of the Year and the tournament's most outstanding player. Marques and teammate Axel Vila Antuna also climbed as high as No. 54 in the ITA doubles rankings.
