Diamond Weaver is an assistant football coach at Fordham University in Bronx, New York, where he joined the staff in January 2026 and is set to coach the cornerbacks for the 2026 season.
Before arriving at Fordham, Weaver spent the 2025 season at UAlbany, coaching the safeties and nickel positions. His work there included opponent breakdowns, coverage adjustments, game-plan preparation, and helping install defensive terminology, concepts, and weekly personnel packages. Earlier in his coaching career, he held positions at Rochester Community and Technical College, Rhode Island, Pace, the Green Bay Blizzard of the IFL, Maine, Stony Brook, and Edinboro. At Maine in 2018, he coached a cornerback group on a defense that led the CAA in total defense, topped the conference in pass efficiency defense, and ranked among the national leaders in interceptions.
