Devin Jefferson
Head Coach
Devin Jefferson is in her eighth season as head coach of the Stockton University women’s basketball program, marking her first head coaching position and first at the NCAA Division III level after experience in Divisions I and II. Since taking over in 2018-19, Jefferson has steadily elevated the program, earning 68 victories with win totals improving each full season from 2018 through 2024. In 2023-24, she guided the Ospreys to 15 wins, the program’s highest total since 2017-18, and a fourth-place finish in the NJAC standings. Her teams have consistently demonstrated defensive strength, including a 2022-23 campaign in which Stockton finished second in the NJAC in scoring defense and rebound margin.
Prior to Stockton, Jefferson spent five seasons as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University, helping the Knights achieve their highest win total in 25 years during the 2017-18 season. She also served as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont and Bloomfield College. A former standout player, Jefferson began her collegiate career at Mitchell College, earning NJCAA All-America Honorable Mention honors before transferring to Seton Hall University, where she competed in the Big East and earned academic and leadership awards. She later played semi-professionally with the NY Gazelles. Jefferson holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Seton Hall and has participated in the NCAA Achieving Coaching Excellence (ACE) program and the Women’s Coaches Academy.
