Devanshi Naik
Assistant Coach
Devanshi Naik is an accomplished coach and former standout collegiate golfer serving as Assistant Coach for the Rollins College women’s golf program, a role she assumed prior to the 2019-20 season. Naik brings a rich global perspective to coaching, having been born in the United Kingdom and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, where she developed her passion and talent for golf. In her youth, she became Zambia’s top-ranked player and represented her country in tournaments worldwide, earning recognition as the Junior Sports Woman of the Year by the National Sports Council of Zambia. Her playing career continued in the United States, beginning at Western Texas College where she twice earned All-America honors and claimed victories at the Sam Houston Invitational and South Padre Brown Invitational. Demonstrating both athletic and academic excellence, Naik maintained a 4.0 GPA and later transferred to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she competed in 19 collegiate tournaments, posted a strong scoring average, and garnered multiple academic honors including membership on the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List and President’s List.
Naik’s transition to coaching began at Central Michigan University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant for two seasons. There, she was instrumental in elevating the Chippewas’ performance, helping the team break numerous individual and team records, improve national rankings, and achieve a third-place finish at the Mid-American Conference Fall Preview. At Rollins College, Naik has continued to contribute to a highly successful women’s golf program, supporting player development and competitive achievement. Her international background as a player and her collegiate coaching experience combine to make her a dynamic and influential leader within the Tars’ golf community.
