Derryk O'Grady is an assistant coach for the University of Vermont men's basketball program in Burlington, Vermont, a position he assumed ahead of the 2024-25 season as he entered his 12th year with the program.
O'Grady has been part of six America East championship teams across 11 seasons at Vermont. Before his promotion, he spent three seasons as director of basketball operations, a span in which the Catamounts won a conference championship each year. His time with the program also includes six seasons as a student manager and graduate assistant and two seasons as assistant to the head coach. Vermont won nine regular-season titles during his years with the program and reached five straight America East championship games from 2015 to 2019, the first program to do so in 23 years.
