Derrick Lett serves as Wide Receivers for Arkansas State University's Football program in Jonesboro, Arkansas. 2021-present: (Arkansas State) Lett joined the staff at Arkansas State upon head coach Butch Jones’ arrival in Jonesboro ahead of the 2021 season. Helping recruit four-straight signing classes among the top three in the league, Lett’s labor has produced back-to-back bowl appearances and a win in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl against Bowling Green.
Last season, Lett’s receiving core had nine different players record a reception for 2,301 yards and 16 scores. For the fourth consecutive season, an A-State wide receiver earn all-conference recognition with Corey Rucker earning a second team nod. Rucker hauled in 69 receptions, eighth-most in a single season by any A-State player, for 1,053 yards, fourth most in a season and the seventh time in program history a player topped 1,000 yards. In 2023, the Red Wolves returned to a bowl game for the first time since 2019 and Jeff Foreman closed out his career as the seventh player in program history to top 2,000 career receiving yards.
