Dennan Morrow
Associate Head Coach
Dennan Morrow joined the Jacksonville State men’s basketball program in October 2020 as coordinator of basketball operations and has steadily risen through the ranks, earning promotions to floor assistant in 2022 and Associate Head Coach prior to the 2024-25 season. In his first year as associate head coach, Morrow played a key role in guiding the Gamecocks to 23 wins — the second-most in the program’s Division I history — along with a Conference USA Championship Game appearance and the program’s first-ever berth in the National Invitation Tournament. Jacksonville State finished 12-6 in Conference USA play and secured a dominant NIT opening-round victory over Georgia Tech.
Before transitioning to an on-court coaching role, Morrow oversaw the program’s administrative operations, including travel, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics, helping steer the Gamecocks through the COVID-19 season and conference transitions into the ASUN and later Conference USA. Prior to Jacksonville State, he spent five seasons coaching at the junior college level with stops at Butler Community College, Chipola College, Daytona State, and Barton Community College. A Kansas State graduate, Morrow served as a graduate assistant and head student manager under Bruce Weber. A former collegiate student-athlete at Barton and Southwestern College, he earned an associate degree from Barton, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State, and a master’s degree in academic advising from K-State.
