David "Tee" Johnson is the assistant coach/director of player development for the University of Delaware men's basketball program in Newark, Delaware, joining the Blue Hens ahead of the 2025-26 season after serving as an assistant coach at UMass Lowell.
Before moving to the college ranks, Johnson was the head varsity boys' basketball coach at Jackson-Reed High School in Washington, D.C., from 2022 to 2025. His teams went 112-21, won DCIAA championships in 2022 and 2024, and captured the DCIAA regular-season title in 2025. Jackson-Reed also earned national top-25 recognition from ESPN and USA Today, reaching a program-best No. 19 in 2023-24. Johnson was named DCIAA Coach of the Year in 2023.
