David Scrivines is the head coach of the Quinnipiac University men's cross country program in Hamden, Connecticut, and is set to lead the school's track and field program when it resumes in the 2026-27 academic year. Named to the cross country post in the summer of 2022, he entered the fall of 2025 in his 28th season as a cross country coach.
Under Scrivines, Quinnipiac's men's team continued to improve at the MAAC Championships. In 2025, a young Bobcats lineup cut 32 seconds from its average time from the previous year and more than two minutes from its 2023 average. Sophomore Alex Saldana paced the team with a 32nd-place finish, four runners placed in the top 70, and Quinnipiac posted 228 points, its lowest total at the meet since 2021. In 2024, a roster that included eight newcomers produced the program's best MAAC Championship team finish in six years, with first-year runner Saldana placing 45th, the highest finish by a Quinnipiac runner since 2019.
