David Caporaletti serves as Assistant Coach/Chief of Staff for Florida Gulf Coast University's Men's Basketball (Sport Supervisor: Lauren Leister) program in Fort Myers, Florida.
David Caporaletti continued his longtime relationship alongside head coach Pat Chambers when he was named Chief of Staff / Assistant to the Head Coach at FGCU in July 2022. The duo have known and worked with each other since attending Philadelphia University in the early 1990's. Caporaletti is the only assistant to be on Chambers’ staff every year at FGCU entering the 2026-27 campaign.
