Dave Clarke is the head coach of the Quinnipiac University women's soccer program in Hamden, Connecticut, and enters the 2026 season with nearly three decades of head coaching experience and a long tenure leading the Bobcats. In 27 completed seasons at Quinnipiac, he built the program into a consistent contender at the Division I level, becoming the school's winningest women's soccer coach and guiding the team to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2000, 2022, and 2023. Quinnipiac also won conference regular-season titles under his direction in 2001, 2022, and 2023. Across 29 seasons as a collegiate head coach, including his years before arriving in Hamden, Clarke owns a 253-206-53 overall record, with a 235-192-50 mark at Quinnipiac.
Clarke's recent Quinnipiac teams have remained among the strongest in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. In 2025, the Bobcats posted an 8-3-6 overall record and went unbeaten in conference play at 8-0-4, earning the No. 2 seed in the MAAC Tournament before being eliminated in penalty kicks by Canisius. The team produced six All-MAAC selections, including first-team honorees Madison Alves and Morgan Cupo, with Corey Anderson landing on the second team and Klara Bengtsson, Bianca D'Onofrio, and Olivia Jarvis recognized on the third team.
