Darian McCauley is an assistant coach for the University of Delaware men's soccer program in Newark, Delaware, joining the Blue Hens in April 2025 after serving for two years as director of goalkeeping at Florida Elite Soccer Academy.
In his first season at Delaware, McCauley oversaw the goalkeeping unit during the program's 100th season and its debut year in The Summit League. Freshman goalkeeper JoJo Elliott Jr. matched the school record with nine shutouts and earned All-Summit League, All-ECAC, and TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI recognition, while ranking among the national leaders in goals-against average, shutouts, and save percentage. Delaware also set program marks for lowest goals-against average and fewest goals allowed.
