Dannie Merida serves as Associate Head Coach for Florida International University's Men's Soccer program in Miami, Florida.
Dannie Merida was promoted to Associate Head Coach of FIU men’s soccer in April of 2022 after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons with the program. Through the 2025 campaign, Merida helped guide FIU to the American Soccer Championship for the second consecutive season and its third appearance over the last four years. In addition, he coached American Conference honorees Eduardo Mustre and Owen Travis, who were both named to the All-American Conference Second Team.
