Danielle O'Toole-Trejo joined Stanford softball as an assistant coach in 2025, focusing on pitching after serving as California's pitching coach. At Cal, she guided a staff that posted the program's lowest ERA since 2019, led by an NFCA All-West Region honoree.
O'Toole-Trejo previously coached pitchers at Cal State Fullerton and San Diego, with her Fullerton staff ranking among the national leaders in earned runs allowed in 2023. As a player, she competed for Mexico at the Tokyo Olympics, won gold with Team USA at the 2017 World Cup of Softball, and earned Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year and NFCA First Team All-America honors at Arizona.
