Daniel Britt
Assistant Coach
Daniel Britt returns for his third stint with the UNC Pembroke Braves as an assistant coach beginning in the 2025-26 academic year, also taking on responsibilities as a lecturer in the university’s Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department. His prior work at Pembroke includes seasons in 2015–16 and again in 2021–22, during which he helped lead the Braves to strong campaigns including a 38-17 overall record and a 23-7 mark in Conference Carolinas play in 2022.
Prior to those returns, Britt served as the head baseball coach at Southeastern Community College, guiding the program to 62 wins over five seasons and seeing 40 players move on to NAIA or NCAA programs. He played collegiately at Elon University from 2007 to 2010, where he appeared in 80 games and posted an 18-7 career record before being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 29th round. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elon and a master’s in sport administration from UNC Pembroke. In his role as assistant coach, he brings a strong background in player development, especially with pitchers, and an ability to connect academic and athletic success.
