Damon Jones is an assistant coach for the University at Buffalo women's basketball team in Buffalo, New York, and entered his second season on the staff in 2026-27 after joining the program in April 2025. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in the summer of 2026.
Before arriving at Buffalo, Jones worked with the Minnesota Lynx as a player development coach and video coordinator on Cheryl Reeve's staff. The Lynx won a Commissioner's Cup title and posted the first 30-win season in franchise history during his time there. He also served on the support staff for the U.S. Women's National Team that won its eighth straight Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.
