Damian Mincey serves as Running Backs Coach for Stony Brook University's Football program in Stony Brook, New York.
Damian Mincey entered the 2025 season as Stony Brook’s running backs coach, bringing with him 21 years of coaching experience, a strong track record of player development, and a resume that includes 20 All-Conference selections and five players who have reached the NFL. In his first season on Long Island with the Seawolves, Mincey helped Stony Brook continue its upward trajectory, finishing 6–6 overall with a 5–1 mark at LaValle Stadium, securing the program’s second consecutive .500-or-better season for the first time since the 2017–18 campaign. He played a key role in the development of the offense, helping guide running back Roland Dempster to finish second in the CAA in rushing touchdowns, rushing yards, and rushing attempts.
