Courtney Veinotte is an assistant coach for the University of Maine field hockey program in Orono, Maine, having returned to the Black Bears staff in March 2026. She came back to Maine after serving as a volunteer assistant at Bowdoin College and after leading Hofstra, where she first worked as associate head coach before becoming head coach following the 2018 season.
Veinotte previously spent six seasons on Maine's staff from 2011 to 2017, including her final two years as associate head coach. During that tenure, the Black Bears produced five All-Americans, 13 all-region selections, and 33 all-conference honorees, and the program was a regular presence in the national rankings, reaching No. 5 in 2011. At Hofstra, she spent two years as associate head coach and then five years as head coach, overseeing a program that produced all-region players, a CAA Rookie of the Year, and multiple all-conference selections.
