Connor Churchill
Assistant Pitching Coach
Connor Churchill is the pitching coach for the Eckerd College baseball program, joining the Tritons’ coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season. A Florida native and local product, Churchill came to Eckerd after a successful stint as the pitching coach at East Lake High School, where he helped guide the Eagles to three postseason appearances and the 2024 district championship. Under his tutelage, East Lake’s pitching staff posted a 1.36 ERA for the 2024 season, illustrating his strong ability to develop arms and manage pitching performance.
Churchill’s playing career included time at several collegiate programs across the Sunshine State Conference and beyond. He started at the University of Florida in 2018, where he made six appearances and was part of a Gators squad that won the SEC regular-season title and played in the College World Series. He spent the 2019 season at Santa Fe Community College, posting a 6-4 record with a 2.91 ERA, and finished his college career at the University of South Florida, appearing in 18 games out of the bullpen. Churchill earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from USF in 2021 and transitioned into coaching, combining his on-field experience with a passion for teaching the game to the next generation of players.
