Colin Amerine is an assistant baseball coach at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, joining the Black Bears for the 2026 season after assisting the program during the 2025 campaign. On Maine's staff, he oversees technology systems such as Trackman and Synergy and serves as video coordinator.
Before arriving at Maine, Amerine coached the Waccamaw Waves in the Beach Collegiate Baseball League in 2025 as first base coach and hitting coordinator. The Waves finished 13-5 and led the league with 102 stolen bases. He also coached Spring City American Legion from 2022 to 2025, working with pitchers and catchers while the team posted a 72-29 record and reached four regionals. Amerine graduated from Penn State Berks in 2024 with a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis.
