Cole Beyer
Volunteer Assistant Coach
Cole Beyer recently joined the coaching staff at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the men’s golf program. He is a standout alumnus of the Maverick golf program, where he earned Second Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) honors for multiple seasons and was recognized as an Academic All-America for his achievements in both athletics and academics. He recorded one of the lowest 54-hole scores in program history and helped lead the Mavericks to record-breaking performance marks.
At CMU, Beyer has transitioned into a coaching role where he contributes to player development, mentoring younger golfers, assisting the head coach Scott Sullivan, and helping maintain the high standards of performance and scholarship that the program is known for. His background as a top performer and scholar-athlete at CMU makes him a valuable asset to the coaching staff.
